詩源 - SDA原創詩歌

 一直以來，本地都不缺乏原創性的詩歌，但要說到較大型的合集，

算是今次媒體佈道部所帶頭發起的【詩源】譜集輯錄——是為一個跨堂會的大型「收割」。

「一切美好的賞賜和各樣完美的恩賜，都是從上面、從眾光之父降下來的」雅各書 1:17 。

靈感，我們要思索活水的泉源，源頭乃來自上帝，因為是祂賦予人創造力，還有對音樂的賞識能力。

詩歌與音樂充斥在我們生活當中，尤其教會的生活離不開詩歌——小組聚會、

崇拜歌唱、佈道會或培靈會。期盼此曲集的收錄發布，見證着上帝的恩典，

也喚起人們對於詩句靈感源頭之感激。而實際應用層面上，

也實質提供給各堂會弟兄姊妹更多的選擇與啟發。教會音樂資源上若然有其他需要時，

「只要信是得着的就必得着，尋找就尋見，叩門就給他開門」我們需保持着持續開放的心態領受。

作為一項可以無視國界的媒體，音樂事工（其實包括其他的事工）是不會以個別項目為終結，

即是不會只停在某一次分享聚會、音樂見證會、出版音樂專輯、或是歌舞劇演出等等。

事工的終點必然是永生！音樂陪伴人帶着疲乏憂傷的身軀，

而能在靈裏領受到上帝所賜美好的詩句與音符：既有大能見證福音，

也洋溢着讚美的敬拜歌聲——一個神喜悅的事工，必然是榮神與益人，

以及當中的參與者/持份者因著滿足他人的需要、鼓勵到別人而（自身）得着奮興與鼓舞。

願這曲譜合集（提倡）只是起步，隨着更多的（彼此）學習、交流、協作、優化、整理、

發佈分享等等——神的愛與祂的靈就充滿着我們，願我們真的認清並抓着福氣的源頭！

There  has never been shortage of original hymn compositions in Hong Kong,

 but  one of the larger collections of original hymn compositions is the "Songs De Above" 

series lead by the Media Evangelism Department, 

an inter-denominational Christian congregation dedicated 

on music ministry  during the End Time “Harvest”.

" Every good and perfect gift is from above, 

coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, 

who does not change like shifting shadows." James 1:17.

Inspiration: God  provides us with everything we need and is the “living water” 

that continues to always give to us. 

He also has given us the power of  creativity and the ability to appreciate music.

Music always has  an important role in our lives, especially in Christian activities. 

From  small group meetings, divine worship congregation singing to evangelistic meetings, 

hymns and music are used in assisting us to  connect with God. 

We look forward to the release of this collection as our personal testimonies of 

God's Grace and a reminder that God is the  source of wisdom in hymn composition. 

In terms of practical application, we pray that this collection can provide more choices of hymns and  inspire brothers and sisters in various churches to continue original hymn compositions. 

“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will  find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” There is always a need for expansion of our music database, 

and we look forward to receiving  your original hymn compositions.

As a Christian Frontier media group, our music ministry does not end with a single project, 

nor do we stop at an evangelistic meeting or album production. 

Same as other ministries in life, the end of this music ministry must be eternal.

 Through Hymns, God can put our lives back in order and restore our brokenness,failures,sin, mistakes, and hurts that we experienced in  this world. 

We believe this music ministry in collecting original hymn compositions are powerful testimonies that participants/stakeholders may use to encourage each other,

 glorify, and uplift our hearts to God.

May  this collection of music (advocacy) be just the beginning of our ministry and more (mutual) learning, exchanging, collaborating,  refining, organizing, publishing, 

and sharing of hymns shall allow us to  grow in Christ and truly grasp the source of our blessings! Thank you,  God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit for loving us, Hallelujah and  Amen!
